Reclaiming Our Food System: 2nd National Assembly Food Secure Canada Making the Connection II: 2nd Nova Scotia Food Security Gathering Reclaiming Our Food System: A Call to Action Assembly program with listing of workshops and panel discussions: click here >> November 7th, 7:00 pm: A special FREE public event featuring Olivier de Schutter, UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Food, on The Food Crisis and Climate Change, with responses from René Segbenou (COPAGEN, West Africa) and Colleen Ross (National Farmers Union). Registration for the Assembly is being handled by Ontario Healthy Communities Coalition, the administrative body for FoodNet Ontario. A limited number of scholarships will be available for members of FSC-SAC. You can apply for a scholarship on the registration form. EXTENDED DEADLINE: The deadline for early registrations has been changed to October 15th. Please note that after that date, the fees will be $320 for members and $375 for non-members.
