TORONTO COMMUNITY GARDEN NETWORK (TCGN)

The Toronto Community Garden Network works to encourage a healthy community gardening movement in the City of Toronto, supporting and linking community gardeners.

The TCGN is made up of interested and energetic individuals and organizations from across Toronto who are committed to greening and organic gardening across the City of Toronto and to making community gardening an integral part of city life.

Community gardens in Toronto are situated on a range of properties, including parks' properties, buildings' rooftops, senior citizens' residences, school board properties, churches, and more.

For a (partial) list and map of Toronto's community gardens, click here. If your garden is not on the list, please contact FoodShare or TCGN to add it.

TCGN events include a January's Garden Leaders Mini Conference, the eagerly anticpated official kick-off to spring, Seedy Saturday, and tours and other get togethers during the summer and at harvest time, funding permitting.

Other gardening events are publicized via the TCGN ENews, a monthly email news bulletin. Sign-up for the TCGN ENews to be sure to get the latest info on dates and times for these and other events.

For more info on TCGN visit the TCGN's website or contact Ravenna Barker at 416-363. 6441 xt 225 or email: ravenna@foodshare.net
