Did you hear the rumble?

Over 10,000 students in the Sudbury and Manitoulin districts crunched down on an apple at 11 am on Thursday, March 5th at 11 am. Students participated in the GREAT BIG CRUNCH to help promote healthy eating during nutrition month by chomping down on an apple.

Ontario grown Mackintosh apples were send to all participating schools and volunteers prepared the apples for all students to enjoy. Educators were provided with educational resources that they used to talk about fruit and vegetables and the importance of healthy eating.

In the attached pictured (from left to right) are, Madisen Derard, Khrystyne Bedard and Lauren Brown who were on their way to take the "Great Big Crunch" with the rest of the students in the school gym.
